Marcia Thompson ~ M.Ed., MSE., L.P.C.
As the founder of CCM Counseling & Wellness over 34 years ago, I have been blessed and honored. My Master’s Degree in Education and Counseling (M.Ed./M.S levitra genérico sin receta.E.) allows me to be a teacher and a counselor. I have found my greatest joy as a Christian Counselor. I incorporate scripture and prayer with the experience and knowledge I gained over the years.
Marcia Thompson – Licensed Professional Counselor
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, I work with individuals, couples, and children dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, eating disorders and relationship issues. Added to my blessings, I have had the opportunity to lead yearly women’s retreats and speak for many community groups.
Trained in EMDR & RAD
I am trained in Level I and Level II of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma issues. I have also been trained by Dr. Joanne May, of the Family Attachment Center in Minnesota, and Dr. Brian Post, of the Post Institute, in Reactive Attachment Disorders (RAD). Honored for my work in this area, I received a STAR Award from the National Attach Group in October 2001.
Author of Two Books
I have written two books, “Feeling Good About Me,” and “Circles of Life.” “Feeling Good About Me” helps children deal with their emotions. “Circles of Life” is a Christian counseling method. This method helps identify universal thinking patterns that greatly affect our relationships with God, others, and self.
I am deeply grateful for God’s calling to be a Christian Counselor and all the wonderful people I have had the privilege to work with.
