“Often it’s the deepest pain which empowers you to grow into your highest self.” — Karen Salmansohn

I have gained so much in life with every step I have taken and every experience I have lived through. Some lessons left scars, but even those lessons opened new doors to my own evolution as a woman and as a human being in the world. I have learned that it is okay to not always be okay and that is where I’d like to extend my hand to you.

It is my goal to create a safe space that you can come to and unload the heavy burdens of your pains and discover the best version of yourself so that you can move forward into your life with a peaceful heart and the belief in yourself that you can overcome all that has tried to stop you from living your best life. My role is to meet you in your darkness with a flashlight and help you find your way out. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose”. I am blessed to be able to live my purpose and genuinely believe that even that which has felt overbearing and dark in our lives can be used for good if we so choose to use the experience and grow from it.

I use a person centered approach, meaning that you the client, are in the driver’s seat of your healing journey and my role is to be alongside you, helping you to navigate the path. This approach focuses on the client needs in a non-judging, safe setting.   I work with people who have experienced or are experiencing concerns with:

  • Trauma
  • PTSD
  • Sexual/Physical/Emotional Abuse
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Self-Esteem
  • Infidelity
  • Divorce
  • Trust Issues
  • Family therapy
  • Pre-marital counseling
  • More…

I received my Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling and follow a very client centered approach, meaning that I believe that we all have the ability to heal with the right support and guidance. I know that without my Faith in God, I would not be all that I am and I have witnessed the healing power of Faith in others’ lives in the counseling process. Healing can best occur through a holistic view of mind, body & spirit working together, along with Biblically-based principles if desired, that are all tailored specifically for your optimal healing and growth.

“Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark.” — Rabindranath Tagore
